All-round carpenter (full-time)

At a birthday party, you would say: "I am responsible for maintaining all decor materials and repair work. Additionally, I collaborate with the Sales team in designing unique concepts and their execution. As a true craftsman, I surprise the team every time with my skills. At Van der Maarel Eventstyling, I get to do carpentry, painting, welding, but I am also responsible for my own planning, administration, purchasing (including calculations), and workshop. We are the specialists of Event Styling in the Netherlands and beyond. We provide furniture, plants, flowers, styling materials, but above all: atmosphere. The whole package. We have worked on events like the Dutch Grand Prix, Tomorrowland, and NOC NSF Sportsgala."

 

To excel in your work, you bring:

  • A completed VMBO education and demonstrable, relevant work experience of at least 2 years; You have a VCA Basic Safety certificate or are willing to obtain one;
  • You are reliable, precise, and have a strong sense of responsibility;
  • You have a driver's license B and a car;
  • You live within a maximum of 30 km from Denemarkenlaan 9 in Hazerswoude-Dorp;
  • You enjoy being flexibly deployed when needed (and thus working outside your standard working hours in our warehouse and at cool events!);
  • You have a good command of the Dutch language in reading and writing.
